About Us

Every day our heroes risk their lives to keep our nation and world safe. Some make the ultimate sacrifice and give their lives for this safety. Others may have wounds (seen or not). Then there are days when heroes may need help, be it as simple as having someone to talk with or as much as helping with bills or a car repair.

We at Here for Heroes have decided not to reinvent the wheel, but to fill a much needed void. We are doing this by not telling people what we do, but by asking our Heroes and their families what we can do for them. It can be as simple as mowing a lawn or taking the family to Six Flags. No matter what it is we will do our best to help our Heroes in need.

Another thing we are proud of is being able to fly up to five flags behind our humvee, and if we are in a funeral procession we will give these flags to the family so each family member will have a flag. It is sometimes hard when the one flag on the casket is the only flag they receive, but other family members would like to have one also. We feel that we have found a way to fill this void with Here for Heroes. Each flag is placed in a presentation box along with Here for Heroes letterhead, signed and dated by all that are aboard the humvee. It is our way of saying thank you.
